Dwars door Vlaanderen 2026
Filippo Ganna won the 80th edition of Dwars door Vlaanderen, while Wout van Aert and Søren Wærenskjold completed the podium. The race, which covered 184.6 kilometres and featured twelve climbs and seven cobbled sectors, took place on Wednesday, 1 April 2026.

Ganna outguns Van Aert in thriller
Wout van Aert attacks from the peloton on the Eikenberg and he catches Romain Grégoire and Niklas Larsen. He drops them one by one and keeps the chasing peloton at bay. But not Filippo Ganna. The Italian attacks in the final kilometres, catches the Belgian in the last 50 metres, and wins Dwars door Vlaanderen.

Dwars door Vlaanderen started out as Dwars door België in 1945, which means Across Belgium. For a long time it has been a two days stage race, but as of 1965 it found its current form as a one-day race. In 2000 the name was changed to Dwars door Vlaanderen.
