The 87th edition of Gent-Wevelgem takes place on Sunday, 30 March. Dating back to 1934, the race features cobblestones, hills, and unpaved roads. Preceded by E3 Harelbeke and followed by Dwars door Vlaanderen and the Tour of Flanders, Gent-Wevelgem is the second race in the so-called Flemish Week. The four Classics are held within a ten-day period. Usually, Gent-Wevelgem covers approximately 250 kilometres, with the race starting in Ypres. (Slideshow route/profile)
Mads Pedersen won last year’s Gent-Wevelgem ahead of Mathieu van der Poel and Jordi Meeus.
