The Grande Partenza of the 108th edition of the Giro d’Italia is expected to take place on Friday 9 May 2025 on a place that’s yet to be announced, although Albania is the most likely candidate. If the Balkan country is skipped, Sicily is rumoured to host the Grande Partenza. The Giro ends in Rome on Sunday 1 June.

The full route of the upcoming Giro d’Italia will be unveiled on Monday, 13 January 2025. Intitially, the presentation was scheduled for 12 November, but it was postponed for unknown reasons. The Grand Partenza is expected to be made public in December.
