Volta a Catalunya 2025The 104th edition of the Volta a Catalunya sets off on Monday from the Mediterranean coast and concludes the following Sunday on the renowned Montjuïc city circuit in Barcelona. The route features a mix of hilly stages, opportunities for sprinters, and three summit finishes, two of which come after demanding high mountain stages. With the inaugural edition held in 1911, the Volta a Catalunya is the oldest race on the cycling calendar after after the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia. (Slideshow route/profile)

Tadej Pogacar dominated last year’s edition. The Slovenian won four stages, plus the mountain, points and general classification. Mikel Landa and Egan Bernal rounded out the final podium.
