Race report
Giorgia Vettorello, Henrietta Christie, Andrea Alzate and Angela Oro ride to a 34 seconds advantage early on, but they are brought back at kilometre 16. Attacks keep flying until Laura Tomasi, Anna Kiesenhofer, Yuliia Biriukova and Veronica Ewers jump clear. They are accompanied by Angela Oro, Quinty Schoens and Stina Kagev before the seven open up a 1.30 minutes gap.

The attackers are caught at kilometre 73. Kiesenhofer does not agree and goes again. She takes a 1 minute lead. Tota Magalhães sets of in pursuit and she shuts the gap down with the help of Anya Louw, Laura Molenaar, Georgie Howe, Carolina Vargas, and Flora Perkins. Cristina Tonetti and Silvia Zanardi also make the junction.

The leaders are caught when the peloton goes into overdrive inside the last 40 kilometres. A first group of about 30 riders keeps on pushing and carves out a lead of over 1 minute.

The gap has been halved when Alison Jackson, Slike Smulders, Lily Williams, and Mischa Bredewold attack from the first group with 4 kilometres remaining. They are caught before the finishing ramp.

Marianne Vos powers to a victory, finishing 2 seconds ahead of Kristen Faulkner and Elisa Longo Borghini. Demi Vollering finishes in fourth to retain the red jersey.
