Race report
A breakaway of four takes shape after 5 kilometres. Scaroni, Sevilla, Irizar and Beullens race to a lead of 3 minutes before the peloton takes control.
Sevilla and Scaroni are the last men standing when they are caught inside the last 10 kilometres.
The race comes down to a bunch sprint with Fabio Jakobsen in perfect position, but Dylan Groenewegen pips him to the line with an ultimate jump. Alexander Kristoff finishes in third.
Obviously, Groenewegen is the first GC leader.
