Maximilian Schachmann powers to victory in a tough ITT on the Tour of the Basque Country's first day of action. On a route with a 2.3 kilometres climb at 9.7%, which kicks up to 16% in the last 800 metres, the German outguns Daniel Felipe Martínez and Michal Kwiatkowski. (Slideshow route/profile)
