Because of the demanding course, the Giro di Lombardia is considered a climbers classic. But if you don’t know how to drop your chances are zero. The last peak in edition 2015, San Fermo della Battaglia, is crested after a 2.7 kilometres climb with maximum grades of 20%. At the top it is 4.6 kilometres to the finish line, mostly downhill.
