Race report
When the flag is dropped Zakkari Dempster and Alexander Porter go off the front. The latter is reeled in with 45 kms to go and Dempster spends almost all day at the head of the race. He is brought back at the base of Norton Summit when the peloton is firing it up.
A 30-strong group makes it over the top of the climb. Peter Sagan first attacks inside the final 4 kms before Daryl Impey opens the sprint. The World Champion overhauls him to take his first stage win at the Tour Down Under.
