The 2017 Tour Down Under was a very straightforward race. Caleb Ewan took all the chances for the sprinters, while Richie Porte was in a class of his own on the hills. After soloing to victory on the two hilltop arrivals he was the obvious overall winner. Esteban Chaves finished in second and Jay MacCarthy in third (Slideshow route/profile)
