The 2016 Tour de Romandie was won by Nairo Quintana. After winning the first mountain stage his leaders jersey was safely on his shoulders for the rest of the race. Chris Froome was a faded shadow of his best self in the first mountain stage, finishing almost 20 minutes down on Quintana, while he powered to the win in the Queen Stage. On the podium Quintana was flanked by Thibaut Pinot and Ion Izagirre. (Slideshow route/profile)
