Race report
The peloton is still bunched after 1 full lap. Then Nina Buijsman gives it a go. Laura Asencio takes over before Micha Bredewold jumps off the front. Emily Newsom tracks her down and the two open up a 40 seconds gap.
The peloton brings the attackers back before the first intermediate sprint. Marianne Vos gains most points.
Then Pauline Allin gives it a dig. Henrietta Christie rejoins her with 31 kilometres remaining. This duo is caught before the second intermediate sprint. Lotte Kopecky is fastest.
Femke Markus attacks with Anne Dorthe Ysland. Marta Lach tracks them down, while Markus wins the sprint for the KOM jersey.
Gladys Verhulst is the next attacker. She puts 50 seconds into the peloton before she is caught inside the last 3 kilometres.
Marianne Vos opens the sprint early but Lorena Wiebes overhauls her compatriot with a powerful accelaration to take the stage win and the yellow jersey.
