Race report
Lilian Calmejane, Aimé De Gendt, Anthony Perez and Stéphane Rossetto attack straight from the gun. The peloton agrees and the four open up a gap of more than 3 minutes.
De Gendt is the last attacker to be reeled in with 4 kilometres remaining.
Groenewegen opens early in the ensuing bunch sprint, but Ewan digs deep to close the gap and overhauls the Dutchman with a final jump on the line.
The GC remains largely unchanged, so Alaphilippe continues in the GC lead.
