Tour de France 2018 Stage 3: BMC wins TTT and Greg Van Avermaet moves into overall lead

Stage 3 on the Tour de France is a team time trial, which is all the more interesting since Chris Froome, Adam Yates, Richie Porte and Nairo Quintana lost time in the 1st stage. BMC powers to the win ahead of Sky and Quick-Step Floors, while Mitchelton-Scott finishes in fourth. So both Porte, Froome and Yates do the job, although Sunweb (Dumoulin) finishes in fifth to limit its losses. Greg Van Avermaet is the new man in yellow. (Slideshow route/profile)
