Race report
With 13 kms done Julian Alaphilippe and Tony Martin go on the attack. A lot of riders try to make the jump, but until now nobody succeeded. The most successful attempt was by Roosen, Craddock, Edet and Breen, but at kilometre 100 they are reeled in.

The Etixx-duo powers to a maximum lead at over 6 minutes. At Côte de Mühleberg, with the gap down to under 1 minute, Martin forges on alone. Yet, with 22 kms to go he is reeled in, too. Then Rui Costa gives it a go for around 15 kms and with 4.5 left he is brought back.

The race boils down to a sprint of a selective peloton with Sagan outpowering Kristoff after an ultimate jump.
