Race report
Four riders break away from the start and the bunch agrees. In 10 kilometres Tom Leezer, Jerome Pineau, Luis Mate Mardones and Arnaud Gerard the gap is shooting up to around 4 minutes.

Giant takes control and with 10 kilometres left the last escapee – Mate – is reeled in.

In the last kilometre Michal Kwiatkowski attacks, but when the sprint ignites he is flooded by fast men. Fastest being André Greipel, taking advantage of his countrymen Kittel being dropped in the last few kilometres.
