Tour Colombia 2020: Sprint victory Molano, Caicedo still leader
The 2nd stage on the Tour Colombia comes down to a sprint finish with Sebastián Molano taking the spoils. Jonathan Caicedo stays in the GC lead. (Slideshow route/profile)

Race report
Ten riders give it a go in the early stages of the race. Urianstad, Velardez, Jeannès, Brayan Sánchez, Aldemar Reyes, Edison Muñoz, Rangel, Montenegro, Guamá and Anderson Paredes race to a lead of almost 4 minutes before the peloton takes control.
The last attacker, Matthieu Jeannès, is reeled in with 4 kilometres to go.
Sebastián Molano opens early in the ensuing sprint and powers to an impressive victory. Álvaro Hodeg struggles to get to his wheel, and that’s it. Itamar Einhorn finishes in third.
Jonathan Caicedo remains leader in the same time as his team mates Sergio Higuita, Daniel Martínez and Tejay van Garderen.
