Tour Colombia 2019: Álvaro Hodeg wins stage 2 to move into GC lead
The 2nd stage of Tour Colombia takes place in Fernando Gaviria's birth place La Ceja and is entirely flat. But Álvaro Hodeg powers to the win and moves into the overall lead. (Slideshow route/profile)

Race report
Óscar Sevilla, Luis Felipe Laverde, José Tito Hernández, Steven Cuesta, Simon Pellaud and Rafael Silva form the breakaway. The six put 4 minutes into the peloton before the gap stabilizes.
Eventually Sevilla and Pellaud are the last men standing, but they are brought back within the final kilometres.
In the ensuing sprint Deceuninck-QuickStep set up Álvaro Hodeg for his first victory in 2019.
