Koersverloop
Mathieu van der Poel goes on the attack shortly after the start, along with Kévin Vauquelin, Lucas Hamilton, Bjoern Koerdt, and Manuele Tarozzi. The five race to a 1.30-minute lead.

The gap is nearly closed on the day’s only climb when Van der Poel continues solo. A little later, he also calls it a day.

Filippo Ganna wins the intermediate sprint, thereby overtaking Antonio Tiberi in the general classification.

The peloton remains together in the final laps Olav Kooij surges to victory in the ensuing bunch sprint.. Juan Ayuso seals the GC triumph, with Ganna and Tiberi rounding out the podium.
