Ruta del Sol 2024The 70th edition was won by Maxim van Gils, while Juan Ayuso and Antonio Tiberi flanked him on the podium. It was an atypical edition of the Andalucia stage race, as it was reduced to an ITT of 5 kilometres – all other stages were cancelled. The race took place on Friday 16 February 2024. Friday 16 February - Following two cancelled stages, the Ruta del Sol kicks off with an idividual time trial in Alcaudete. The 5 kilometres route climbs almost from start to finish, albeit at shallow gradients, while the last 500 metres rise on a on a narrow and cobbled road towards Alcaudete Castle.
