Tim Wellens won the 2018 edition of the Ruta del Sol ahead of Wout Poels and Marc Soler. The Flemish rider climbed to victory on the cobbled last ascent of the 4th stage, which proved to be decisive for his overall win. The 64th Ruta del Sol – a.k.a.
