The city circuit in Quebec, which is 12.6 kilometres, is to be raced sixteen times. Most climbs are in the second half of each round, furthermore, the last kilometre goes up, too. In last edition all seemed set for a bunch sprint with a select group when Rigoberto Uran powered away in the closing kilometre to head for glory – albeit in the same time as sprinters Matthews and Kristoff.
Basically, in Quebec it could go either way – a sprint, a late attack, or a break of strong riders pushing on till the end…
