Race report
The race ignites on the finishing circuit in Rome. Ewen Costiou, Alex Baudin, Mikkel Honoré, and Martin Marcellusi race 30 seconds ahead of the peloton tens of kilometres. The four are caught with 13 kilometres remaining.

Jonathan Milan suffers a mechanical issue in the last lap, but he makes it back inside the last 3 kilometres.

Tim Merlier outpowers the Italian on the cobbled sprint in Rome, while Tadej Pogacar seals his GC triumph.
