Eneco Tour 2016: Favourites
The 2016 Eneco Tour features three flat stages, one individual time trial, one team time trial en two hilly stages. So the overall contenders must be men of all trades. The names of Peter Sagan, Greg Van Avermaet and Tom Dumoulin spring to mind... (Slideshow route/profile)
Recently the Laurentian Classics, the races in Quebec and Montreal, brought two classics between Sagan and Van Avermaet, so the World Champion and Olympic Champion are in good shape. While Tom Dumoulin finished in third in the Tour of Britain.
Last edition of the Eneco Tour was won by Tim Wellens ahead of Van Avermaet and Dumoulin. In fact, Wellens is a back-to-back winner as he was victorious in 2014, too.
