Vuelta 2023: Poels wins five-up sprint, Kuss seals GC win

Remco Evenepoel, Wout Poels, Lennert Van Eetvelt, Pelayo Sánchez and Marc Soler are the remaining attackers from a huge breakaway on the last of ten climbs. The five hold off the chasers before Poels sprints to victory on the uphill home straight. Sepp Kuss seals his GC triumph 10 minutes later.

Saturday 16 September - The penultimate stage of La Vuelta is crammed with hills. No climb is hard in itself, but the sheer number of it will wear the riders out. The elevation gain is over 4,300 metres while the route adds up to 207.8 kilometres.
