Jesús Herrada wins the 11th stage of La Vuelta from the breakaway. He strikes on the steepest slopes near the summit to take the win ahead of Romain Grégoire and Andreas Kron. The GC riders cross the line together, so Sepp Kuss stays in the lead.

Vuelta 2023 Route stage 11: Lerma – Laguna Negra

Wednesday 6 september - At 163.2 kilometres, the 11th stage is vintage La Vuelta a España. Following a undulating run-up it all comes down to the finale. The Laguna Negra climb is 6.5 kilometres long and averaging 6.8%, but the last 500 metres ramp up to 11.2%.
