Vuelta 2020: Soler solos to victory, Roglic still leader

Marc Soler attacks in the descent of the last climb, the Alto San Miguel de Aralar. He holds off nine chasers to solo to victory. Maillot rojo Primoz Roglic sprints to second place to extend the GC lead, while third placed Martin moves up to second place overall.

Vuelta 2020 Route stage 2: Pamplona – Lekunberri

Wednesday 21 October - The 2nd stage of La Vuelta is a hilly race with a promising finale. Firstly, the riders climb the bumpy concrete road to the Sanctuary of San Miguel de Aralar. Secondly, they fly down 17 kilometres of smooth asfalt into Lekunberri.

Vuelta 2020 Favourites stage 2: Climbers with descending skills

The finale of the 2nd stage features the steep en irregular Alto de San Miguel. Striking on the most demanding ramps and extending the lead in the descent could be the recipe for success.
