The Tour of the Alps started last Monday to finish this Friday. The mountainous race is played out on the borders of Italy and Austria and features over 13,000 metres of climbing in five days of racing.

Tour of the Alps 2019: Masnada wins again while Sivakov seals GC victory

The Tour of the Alp serves a hearty meal in its final stage. Two massive climbs in the second half of the 148 kilometres race before a downhill leads to a flat run-in of 8 kilometres. Attacker Fausto Masnada wins his second stage and Pavel Sivakov seals the overall victory. Tao Geogegan Hart finishes in second, Vincenzo Nibali in third.

Friday 26 April - The final stage of the Tour of the Alps features two massive climbs in the second half of the race. The route amounts to 147.8 kilometres.
