Tour de France 2024: Pogacar scores double victory in the Galibier descent

Tadej Pogacar attacks 800 meters from the top of the Galibier and crests the summit 10 seconds ahead of Jonas Vingegaard. In the descent, he extends his lead while the defending champion is joined by Remco Evenepoel, Primoz Roglic, Carlos Rodriguez, and Juan Ayuso. Pogacar wins the race with a 35 seconds lead to take back the yellow jersey.

Tour de France 2024 Route stage 4: Pinerolo – Valloire

Tuesday 2 July - The 4th stage of the Tour de France travels from Pinerolo to the French Alps. The finish is situated in Valloire after the descent from the Col du Galibier. The race is 139.6 kilometres long and the elevation gain adds up to 3,600 metres.
