Tour de Suisse 2017: Rohan Dennis wins ITT in Schaffhausen, Simon Spilak takes overall victory
The Tour de Suisse comes to a halt with a hilly ITT of 28.6 kilometres. Rohan Dennis is in a class of his own as he powers to the stage win. Simon Spilak finishes in fourth, thus cementing his overall victory. Damion Caruso and Steven Kruijswijk round out the podium.

Tour de Suisse 2017: Spilak solos to victory and race lead on Tiefenbachferner
The 7th stage in the Tour de Suisse travels to the Tiefenbachferner in Sölden, Austria. The closing climb amounts to 14.2 kilometres, while it is averaging 9.5%. Simon Spilak soloes to victory ahead of Ion Izagirre. The Slovenian rides into yellow, almost 1 minute ahead of Caruso.

Tour de Suisse 2015 Stage 9: Spilak wins GC, Dumoulin takes last stage
The hilly time trial in Switzerland boils down to a scenario Alfred Hitchcock would have been proud of. Soon leader Thibaut Pinot is out of the question and the race turns into a battle over seconds between Simon Spilak and Geraint Thomas. The Slovian is strongest, besting the Welshman by 5 seconds in the overall. Tom Dumoulin takes the stage and is ready for a battle for yellow with Tony Martin in Utrecht next month.

Critérium du Dauphiné 2014: Stage 5 – Spilak makes it 2 in a row for Katusha
Simon Spilak won the 5th stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné and the 2nd in a row for Katusha after Trofimovs victory yesterday. Chris Froome remains in the lead but had to work hard for it today after attacks from both Alberto Contador and Wilco Kelderman.

Tour de Romandie 2014 Stage and GC lead for Spilak, Froome close
The ride from Le Bouveret to Aigle is 180.2 kilometres long with 4 category-1 cols. Early on in the closing climb Nibali attacks, but Chris Froome's reaction is strong and he takes over. He is accompanied by Simon Spilak and the Slovak rider not only outsprints his companion on the line, he is the new overall leader as well.
