Alessandro De Marchi and Simon Clarke attack from the breakaway on the last climb. Still 70 kilometres remaining at this point. The two keep the peloton at bay... until the last 300 metres. Then Mads Pedersen sprints to victory, while Andreas Leknessund keeps the maglia rosa.

Thursday 11 May - The 6th stage on the Italian Grand Tour is the Giro di Napoli. The 152 kilometres route features 2,800 vertical metres. Most of the climbing is packed inside the first 100 kilometres.
