Ben Healy and Brandon McNulty leave their fellow-attackers behind in the last big climb of the day, while Marco Frigo tracks down the duo inside the last 10 kilometres. It comes down to a three-up sprint in Bergamo with McNulty taking the spoils. Bruno Armirail loses some time, but he keeps the maglia rosa.

Giro 2023 Route stage 15: Seregno – Bergamo

Sunday 21 May - Stage 15 is the Giro d'Italia's take on Il Lombardia. The 195 kilometres route takes in four intermediate climbs before a punchy finale in Bergamo. The short and sharp Colle Aperto into the old town precedes a flying descent to the line.

The riders traverse the Lombard medium mountains and take in an elevation gain of 3,600 metres while doing so. GC riders have little to gain in the 15th stage, so attackers are likely to have it their way. The finale includes a punchy climb before a 3 kilometres descent to the line.
