Vuelta 2016 Stage 5: Meersman again, Atapuma still in the lead

Stage 5 in La Vuelta totals 171.3 kilometres, while the race is marked by a tricky finale. A 1 kilometre climb at 5% with 3 kilometres to go and a false flat arrival. Despite a Gilbert/Clarke attack on that last climb the race boils down to a bunch sprint with Meersman powering to his second victory in this year's Vuelta. Atapuma retains in red.

Vuelta 2016 Stage 2: Meersman sprints to victory, Kwiatkowski takes lead

At 160.8 kilometres, stage 2 in La Vuelta is played out on rolling roads with a tough climb halfway and a modest hill with 10 kilometres remaining. The race boils down to a bunch sprint with Gianni Meersman powering to victory. Michal Kwiatkowski, who finishes in fourth place, is the new leader.
