E3 BinckBank Classic 2019: Stybar wins five-up sprint

The E3 BinckBank Classic is the opener of the Flemish Week, which reaches its zenit in the Tour of Flanders. Zdenek Stybar wins the race in a five-up sprint, outgunning Wout Van Aert and Greg Van Avermaet on the line. Alberto Bettiol comes in fourth, Bob Jungels is fifth.

Friday, 29 March - E3 Harelbeke is the entry to ten days of passionate racing in Flanders. The 2019 edition – which is named after its new sponsor: E3 BinckBank Classic - amounts to 203.9 kilometres. The route features fifteen sharp climbs, while the last one, Tiegemberg, is crested with 19.3 kilometres remaining. Niki Terpstra is title holder.
