Race report
The breakaway takes shape after almost 10 kilometres of hard racing. Samuel Bewley, Arjen Livyns and Thomas Sprengers open up a 3 minutes gap.
The attackers are brought back on the local lap around Ardooie with more than 50 kilometres to go.
Danny van Poppel launches the sprint from far, but it is Tim Merlier who takes the win ahead of Mads Pedersen.
Stefan Bissegger finishes in the peloton to stay in the overall race lead.
